Notarized Document Legalization & Apostille


A notarized document is a certification of a legal document by a notary public. A document that is not issued by a federal or government entity will require notarization before it can be processed for apostille or legalization.

Notarized documents include, but are not limited to:

  • Power of Attorney
  • Authorization letter
  • Bank letter
  • Non-criminal records issued by local police or state justice departments
  • Affidavits
  • Photocopies of business documents such as Articles of Incorporation
  • Relinquish of Inheritance
  • Contracts and agreements
  • Academic records such as  diplomas, transcripts, TEFL or TESOL certificate
  • Photocopies of ID such as driver’s license or passport
