To obtain an apostille from the office of Alison Lundergan Grimes, Kentucky Secretary of State in Frankfort, follow these guidelines:

Considerations for notarized documents:
Must be notarized by an actively commissioned Notary Public, with a certified signature from the County clerk
Must be authenticated by the County or Deputy Clerk.
Considerations for vital records:
Must be certified copies of birth, death or marriage certificates signed by the vital records office and the current State Registrar Paul F. Royce, form the Department of Health and Vital Statistics. (please see image below)
